Your new workday:
As a Commerce B2B Software Engineer & Team Lead (m/f/x), you take technical ownership of projects, align requirements with clients, and develop elegant solutions. You apply your holistic, customer-focused understanding of processes and challenges in e-commerce, bringing experience with B2B or B2B2C platforms. You also contribute your knowledge of Salesforce concepts and functionalities. In addition to your technical role, you lead a team of developers, coordinate their work, provide support, and foster their professional growth.
Tasks
How you help us make digital transformation tangible:
- Design and implement custom Salesforce solutions using B2B Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud / Lightning Flows, Visualforce, Apex, and APIs
- Write customer-specific business logic using Apex classes with SOQL and DML
- Utilize trigger events through JavaScript libraries and custom remote actions
- Create dynamic views using Handlebar helpers and build subscriber pages, views, models, and classes
- Troubleshoot and improve existing code
- Further develop Salesforce beyond its existing applications using the latest technologies
- Support new customer acquisition and contribute to follow-up projects with existing clients
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Act as a point of contact for cross-project pipeline issues and take a solution-oriented approach
- Enhance pipelines, scripts, and JSON files
- Lead a team of developers, coordinate their work, and support their professional growth
What you should bring with you:
- Confident in working with Apex, Visualforce, common interfaces such as REST APIs, and relational databases
- Ability to write performant, secure, and scalable code, adhering to best practices and MVC patterns
- You see QA as part of development, deliver meaningful unit tests, and ideally have some experience with test automation
- An agile mindset that allows you to analyze requirements with the Product Owner end-to-end and break them down into small, value-adding increments
- A degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
- Ideally Salesforce certifications (Experience Cloud, B2C Commerce, Sales & Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud)
- Experience in conducting code reviews
- Knowledge of pipelines, their interaction with various Salesforce modules, and the use of commands and setup integration
- Experience in team leadership and employee development, as well as excellent proficiency in German and English
